If you run a clinic, a fit-out firm, a brokerage or a salon in Dubai and need a CRM wired to WhatsApp, a small internal tool or a broken integration fixed, the cheapest form of IT outsourcing in Dubai that works is usually an hourly developer. Most outsourcing firms here are sized for bigger projects, and a full-time hire costs more than most of these jobs are worth. Decide on two numbers: how many hours the work takes, and whether it comes back every month. A full stack developer on salary in the UAE averages about AED 6,500 a month and tops out near AED 14,800 in the typical range, before visa, insurance and gratuity (Indeed UAE, October 2026). Our own price is public: you can hire a developer at AED 500 an hour, remotely, starting with a 4-hour block of AED 2,000.
Search "it outsourcing dubai" and the first page is ranked lists of company names, logos and contact forms. Prices are rare, and almost none of them compares the models. That is what this page does.
Quick reference: IT outsourcing in Dubai for a small business comes in three models. An hourly developer costs AED 500 an hour at slgo.ai, from a 4-hour block of AED 2,000, or AED 7,500 to 14,000 a month for roughly 20 to 40 hours. The top-listed Dubai firms on Clutch show minimum projects from $25,000, about AED 92,000. A full-time full stack developer in the UAE averages about AED 6,500 a month, up to about AED 14,800 at the top of the typical range, plus visa, medical insurance and end-of-service gratuity. Choose by hours of work and how often it recurs.
Two different trades hide behind "IT outsourcing"
The first is managed IT: laptops, office networks, email, CCTV, usually sold as an annual maintenance contract. If the Wi-Fi drops in your treatment rooms, call one of those firms. Nothing below applies.
The second is software work. Leads from Property Finder should land in the CRM with the source attached. A booking form should send a deposit link in WhatsApp. The quote your estimator builds in a spreadsheet should come out as a PDF on your template. That is developer work, and this article is about buying it.
Within software, the companies at the top of the lists are sized for projects, not tasks. On Clutch's Dubai developer listing, the leading entries show minimum project sizes of $25,000 and up, roughly AED 92,000. A clinic owner who needs twelve hours of integration work and goes looking for developers for hire does not fit that minimum. The owner gets a polite decline or a discovery phase that costs more than the fix.
Sort the work by size and regularity first
Before you compare anyone, decide which box your work sits in.
A one-off task, 4 to 40 hours. Connect the website form to the CRM. Fix the payment webhook that stopped writing to the deal. Build a rebooking reminder. This is an hourly block. A project structure here buys you meetings.
Recurring work, 20 to 40 hours a month. A new campaign needs new lead routing, the team wants a report, a supplier changes its API. This is a monthly plan.
One defined build. An internal tool, a client portal, an MVP, with a scope that fits on a page. This is a fixed price, and I explained how to size one in fixed scope, fixed price.
Several engineers for months, or a full-time load every month. This is where an outsourcing company or a salaried employee earns its cost.
Most owners who message me sit in the first two boxes. Most have been quoted as if they sat in the fourth.
IT outsourcing Dubai prices: the three models side by side
The first row is our own price. The other two are market bands reported in 2026, with the source next to each figure.
| Model | What it costs | How soon it starts | What you get | Where it breaks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hourly developer (slgo.ai) | AED 500/hour from a 4-hour block (AED 2,000); monthly AED 7,500 (about 20 h) or AED 14,000 (about 40 h) | Within 24 hours | One engineer, an hour range before you pay, a report every evening, AI-written code checked by a person | One person, not a team; no round-the-clock cover |
| IT outsourcing company or agency | Minimum projects from $25,000, about AED 92,000 (Clutch, Dubai listing); one vendor publishes $10,000+ a month for a solo senior engineer, $18,000+ for a small pod with QA (Squash Apps) | After discovery and a contract | Project manager, QA, cover when someone is ill | Small tasks priced out; an account manager between you and the engineer |
| Full-time hire | Full stack developer about AED 6,500 a month on average, up to about AED 14,800 (Indeed UAE); total employment cost 20% to over 50% above base (RemotePass) | After recruitment, notice period and visa | A person in the office every working day | Paid whether there is work or not; a resignation takes the knowledge with it |
Per hour, though, a salaried developer is the cheapest of the three, if you have the hours. Even at AED 14,800 a month, the top of the typical range, and roughly 160 working hours, the salary alone is under AED 100 an hour. The trouble is that a clinic or a salon rarely has 160 hours of development a month. It has 15, and pays for the other 145.
What a full-time developer really costs in Dubai
Indeed's UAE salary data (311 reported salaries, updated October 2026) puts the average full stack developer at about AED 6,500 a month, with a typical range from roughly AED 2,900 to AED 14,800. Glassdoor's self-reported median for software developers in Dubai is near AED 8,400. Both pools lean junior. Someone who can design an integration alone and own it in production sits at the top of those ranges or above them.
On top of salary:
- Visa. Multiplier cites AED 3,000 to 7,000 per employee, renewed every two to three years, paid by the employer.
- Medical insurance. Dubai requires the employer to insure the employee. Broker estimates for the basic plan run about AED 500 to 750 a year.
- End-of-service gratuity. Under the UAE Labour Law it accrues at 21 days of basic salary for each of the first five years. On a basic salary of AED 14,800, that is about AED 10,400 a year building up from day one.
- The rest. Laptop, licences, recruitment fees, weeks of onboarding. RemotePass puts total employment cost at 20% to over 50% above base salary.
So a developer on AED 14,800 costs about AED 178,000 a year in salary alone, before the visa, the insurance and the gratuity. The Core plan below is AED 168,000 a year for about 40 hours a month, so it only makes sense when 40 hours is all the work there is.
Hiring is right when the work is genuinely full-time and the code is the business. If customers pay for your platform, put a developer on payroll. If the code is plumbing between your CRM, WhatsApp and payment links, buy hours.
When IT outsourcing companies in Dubai are the right call
I send people to agencies. An outsourcing company earns its price when the work needs several engineers in parallel, a QA function, a project manager on a multi-month plan, and cover when one engineer leaves. A booking platform with three user roles, payments and an admin panel, built over four months, is agency territory.
You pay there for coordination. Somebody scopes, somebody manages, somebody tests, and all of it appears on the invoice. On a large build that is money well spent. On a twelve-hour integration it is most of the bill. Ranges for bigger builds are in what a custom software company in Dubai charges.
Small businesses also end up at agencies after hourly work from a freelancer went wrong: the code worked, the person disappeared, the accounts were in the freelancer's name. That is a contract problem more than a model problem, and the clauses that prevent it are below. The full takeover checklist is in what breaks after a freelance handover.
How our developer on hire works
You send the task in WhatsApp. Before you pay, I name a range of hours and you get a quote. If the work reaches the top of that range, we stop and ask you before going on. Time is counted in one-hour steps, and every evening you get a report of what was done and how long it took. Nothing goes into production without your yes.
Single tasks are AED 500 an hour, remote, by WhatsApp and calls, from a 4-hour block (AED 2,000). For recurring work there are two monthly developer plans. Middle is AED 7,500 a month for about 20 hours with 2 visits to your office. Core is AED 14,000 a month for about 40 hours with up to 4 visits. I make those visits myself: we plan the month and I show what was built. Per hour, Middle works out near AED 375 and Core near AED 350.
We start within 24 hours, in English or Russian. Sunday is the day off; we work it on request. If a bug is ours, we fix it free for 3 days after handover.
Owners who want to hire an AI developer are usually after speed, and the speed is real: AI writes the code faster, which is where the saved hours come from. A live engineer checks every line before it touches your data or your customers. That review is what people skip when they try AI coding tools themselves.
When a string of tasks turns into one clear build, hourly stops being the best deal. A fixed-price build starts at AED 9,000 for an internal tool or prototype, about two weeks of work. An MVP starts at AED 18,000. We also build native iOS and Android apps and publish them to the App Store and Google Play; app prices are not published, so you get an estimate on WhatsApp before you pay. What to check first is in hiring a mobile app developer in Dubai.
The proof we run on
I built the AI systems of SkyLight, a photo and video studio in Dubai: the WhatsApp manager, bookings, payments and the owner dashboard. They are the same jobs small business owners send me: a lead that has to reach the CRM, a deposit collected in the chat, a number the owner wants each morning without asking anyone. The details are in the SkyLight case.
Work like this rarely arrives as one specification. It shows up a task at a time as the business reveals what is missing, and hours fit that rhythm better than a four-month plan.
What to put in writing before you pay anyone
These apply to every model, salaried staff and us included.
Who owns the code. A written assignment of the code and related work to your company, effective on payment. Paying does not make it yours unless the contract says so. If the work matters to the business, have a lawyer read the clause once.
Accounts in your name. Repository, hosting, CRM admin, WhatsApp Business account, the payment gateway under your trade licence, every API key. The developer gets invited access, and you remove it when the work ends. If anything runs on the developer's personal login, you own files, not a system.
A report of hours. What was done and how long it took, daily or at least weekly. A monthly invoice with one number is how AED 2,000 of work becomes AED 6,000.
A stop at the upper bound. A range of hours agreed before the start, and a written rule that the developer stops and asks when it runs out. Without it, an estimate is a hope.
Approval before production. Nothing goes live on your CRM or customer-facing flow until you say yes.
A fix window. How many days the developer fixes their own bugs free after handover.
A supplier who resists any of these is telling you how the project will end. Put the same list in front of us.
When our hourly model is the wrong fit
If the work needs three engineers in parallel, QA and a plan over months, one developer on hours becomes the bottleneck. Hire a company or build an in-house team.
Regulated systems are another case. Software that stores patient records under health authority rules, handles card data directly, or has to pass a formal audit needs a firm with a compliance function and the paperwork that goes with it.
The same goes for round-the-clock on-call. If an outage at 3am needs someone at the keyboard within minutes under a written response time, you want a team with an on-call rotation, and one developer with Sunday off is not that. And if you really have 160 hours of development every month for the foreseeable future, a salaried developer is cheaper per hour. Hire.
Office IT belongs with a managed IT firm. A new company website is a different trade too, and this offer does not cover it.
If your work is none of these, start with the smallest step: a 4-hour block. You can book the first block of hours here.
